TDF stage Quatre: No more, please.

The protests seem to have fallen on deaf, syphallitic ears. That's right, the Tour's 'one-day-classic' (destined to wear yellow for no more than 24 hours) hit the road in the ITT wearing - you guessed it - top to tail Jaune. Yellow. His helmet had that 'spray-painted in the parking lot last night' look, and the bike was standard issue (only yellow bar tape, thank god) but beyond that little Feillu was about as yellow as a sunflower dipped in butter.

But back to the race - yes, Cadel was probably the stand-out on the day, but let's hear it for Denis. I had written him off only yesterday after losing time on the run in, as lets face it, Denis is not an explosive climber - he can follow and grind but that doesn't get you minutes in the mountains. Taking time on everyone but Evans puts Menchov back in the hunt, which will be a relief for Rabo, as I don't think they have a back-up.

All in all this tour is looking more and more interesting as the days roll by. I wonder if the sprinters are starting to question why they do what they do - I mean the best start to a tour in years is based around having pretty well no 'gimme' sprinters stages. Coincidence? I think not. See ya later, Robbie, Cav, Zabel et al. Time for some bike racin.

Watch out for Cunego, probably the most improved of the non-TT riders yesterday and he could impress when they go vertical.
